A QUICK UPDATE FROM THE HILLFIELDS NEIGHBOURHOOD TEAM

OVER THE PAST FORTNIGHT YOUR LOCAL NEIGHBOURHOOD TEAM HAVE:
Local officers have made 2 great arrests in your local area. One of the arrests were for dangerous and drug driving, which resulted in him having to attend court. Another great arrest was for handling counterfeit cigarettes. We will continue to keep the roads and streets safer.
youth club engagement at the local youth club. We are in the view of working positively with the staff and volunteers within the club. We have also been engaging with the local religious establishments.
officers have been doing some reassurance patrols around a local restaurant due to ongoing issues with anti-social behaviour. We aim to continue with these patrols to support the business and help prevent the issues.
NEXT WEEKS PLANS:
Your local Neighbourhood team will be out and about engaging in the community, working with the local schools and community centres.
We are also going to be completing numerous targeted Guardian patrols. Guardian patrols are patrols of highlighted repeat crime areas using statistics and analysis. These statistics highlight the best times and locations for high visibility patrols in order to deter and detect crime.
Please note your local neighbourhood team do have much more proactive police work in the pipe line however it would be detrimental to our upcoming investigations and operations to share this information at this time. We will however try to share the results post event via this newsletter.
