Local News...

Good Evening Residents,

Officers have had a busy week on the East Locality.

We continue to offer free faraday pouches which blocks signal for keyless entry.   We still have stock available if you wish to message the local neighbourhood team.

Officers and PCSO’s have been visiting local stores in Aldridge/ Walsall Wood to deter and prevent criminals stealing goods and to stop abuse and violence against shop staff.

PCSO’s have attended Blackwood Primary school this week following complaints from both residents and parents about unnecessary obstruction parking.   Officers managed to deter most offences, two parking tickets was issued.   This is an example of just some offences of inconsiderate parking!  We are receiving increasing numbers of complaints from many schools in the neighbourhood.  Officers will continue to patrol other schools in the locality in the coming weeks.

One of the most frequent complaints we receive is about parking, needless to say the owner to this vehicle is one owner who will be receiving a parking ticket in the post!

DONT PLONK IT…..PARK IT!!!!

PCSO's attended Aldridge Village Partnership meeting to discuss any concerns in the community and give updates on events over the past few weeks.

PCSO's attended the Aldridge Streetwatch walk this week paying attention to ASB hotspots and Aldridge Village.    If anyone wishes to join as a Streetwatch volunteer click on the below link.  We also have a group of walkers in Shire Oak and Orchard Hills.
