West Minster Primary VAWG Surgery : Mon 27 Jan 08:30

Dear Resident,

I will be holding a Surgery for parents of pupils of West Minster Primary School on Monday 27th January. I will be present at the School at drop off time in the morning (8:30am - 10am) for any persons who would like to speak to me.

The main focus of this engagement will be Domestic Abuse and Violence Against Women and Girls, however I will discuss other matters if needed.

School drop off/pick up time is one of the only times people are able to get away from their abuser without questions being asked. The School are providing a safe and secure environment for anyone with any concerns to come and speak to Police or the School Family Liaison, so if you know anyone who may benefit from this please share this message with them.

Other Schools in the area have been contacted and we are looking to do the same at other sites in the future. Please note, for obvious reasons if you are not a parent or carer of a pupil in West Minster Primary School, please do not attend the site. If you would like to report anything or discuss anything please do so through calling 101 or report via the Kent Police Website.

Regards

PC Hewes
