Nuisance E-Bike Seized

Dear Resident

PC Hewes, PC Kinrade and PC Savage have attended an incident to youths riding around Beachfields Park, Sheerness on an electric ‘Sur-Ron’ bike this afternoon. The bike has now been seized and youths dealt with for the incident.

E-bikes such as ‘Sur-Ron’ style bikes are not permitted to be ridden on roads or public land. They can only be ridden on Private Land, with the land owner's permission. If you are caught riding them where it is not permitted the bike will be seized and you could potentially receive points on you license as well as a fine.

Please continue to report nuisance vehicles to us. Where resourcing allows, we will attend and deal with them if they are causing issues in your area!
