Welcome to the role of Neighbourhood Watch coordinator.  I have received a message that you wish to take over the coordinator role for Pirbright Road and Wood End in Farnborough.

I am the Member Support Administrator for Rushmoor Neighbourhood Watch.  You may be aware that we have to undertake what we call a police ‘light touch’ check on all new coordinators.  This is just to ensure that there are no concerns registered because as a coordinator you will have access to details of your members and then of course need to follow the rules of General Data protection etc.  This has shown no problems at all.

You may already be familiar with ‘Ourwatch’  which is the Neighbourhood Watch web site.  There is a lot of very useful information on here and it would be useful to take a look initially at the link below:

I will change your role on the system from member to coordinator.

I can see you already have 13 people registered as members, including yourself plus there are a further 5 people registered on alert on your road but not actually shown as scheme members.  It is always useful to encourage people in the area to join alert so that they receive information and reduce your workload in passing things on.

You may also like to update the text about the scheme to reflect that you are now the coordinator.
