Neighbourhood Matters Update: Burglaries in Herefordshire
We’d like to make you aware of a recent burglary that occurred on St Peter’s Field, Withington, on the 17th of this month between 18:05 and 18:45. The offender forced entry by prising open the rear kitchen door, causing damage to both the door and a kitchen window. Once inside, a messy search was carried out, and a jewellery box containing approximately £150 worth of earrings and charms was taken. We believe 2–3 individuals, possibly masked, were involved. We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have noticed vehicles that seemed out of place or being driven suspiciously in the area, or anything else that didn’t feel quite right during that time.
This incident is one of several burglaries reported recently in Herefordshire. There were four incidents in Ledbury between the 8th and 9th, and Two others across the county between the 17th including locations on Home Lane, South Bank Close, and St Peter’s Field. We are appealing to anyone in the area with CCTV or video doorbells to check their footage. If you spot anything unusual or suspicious, please contact us with any information you might have. Please quote reference 22/5222/25 when getting in touch.
