Pending agreement on future processes I plan to forward police briefing notes as received. That below was was received today

Location: Brixton Police Station
Incident Details: The front counter at Brixton Police Station will remain closed until further notice, due to ongoing buliding issues which are under investigation.

We will update partners once we have a timetable for reopening.

The Custody Suite remains open and persons due to return on bail should continue to attend as normal and call 101 from outside to gain access.

Alternative 24/7 Front Counter facilities are available at Walworth Police Station

This is an update on the previous message below: 

 

At about 0600hrs on the 15th of January the decision was taken to close the front office at Brixton Police station due to a building defect.

At present the custody suite is still open and we have engineers on site rectifying the issues.

We aim to have the station operational as soon as possible.
