Two men have been arrested following a search of a vehicle in Tamworth.

Officers stopped a blue MG Rover, on Silver Link Road, Glascote, at 4pm, on Thursday (16 January).

Mobile phones and £190 in cash were found.

A 55-year-old man, from the Tamworth area, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.

A 47-year-old man, also from the Tamworth area, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine and drug driving.

Both men have been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
