Hello residents of Up Holland. Below is a list of useful organisations and websites that anyone can contact for help with keeping you, or someone you care about safe, from online fraud and scams.  The Police also use these facilities when trying to safeguard victims of all kinds of fraud.

“Cifas” is a not-for-profit organisation. For £30 registration they can protect people from identity theft. An example; to stop people having finance taken out in their name. Don't just think about scammers with this one, think of anyone with a grudge, ex-partners etc.

AgeUK is a partner agency who can offer services to help with mental health. Power of Attorney, loneliness. Every GP service has a social prescribing co-ordinator. They can assist with arranging having a trained person call lonely people weekly. Loneliness is a pathway to being a victim of fraud.

StopNCII.org for scams or bribery involving revenge porn. Operated by the revenge porn hotline. For images of over 18yrs

takeitdown.ncmec.org is an American website for revenge porn images of under 18 years.

Call159 ad a national 3 digit number to contact banks of fraud or scams.
