Dear Residents and Local Businesses, Here is your weekly update from your local neighbourhood Policing Team, to let you know some of what we have been busy dealing with: PATROLS We have taken note of your concerns regarding speeding and have increased our patrols on Clifford Bridge Road. We conducted a Speedwatch Operation on the 19th, during which we issued fines and provided guidance to several drivers. We encourage you to continue informing our team about any locations that may need our attention, and we will prioritize patrolling these areas and planning future operations based on your suggestions. Our team remains actively engaged in patrolling high streets and retail parks, including Walsgrave Road, the Ball Hill area, and Warwickshire Retail Park. Shoplifting incidents are consistently observed in these locations, and our officers are maintaining a vigilant presence to ensure the safety of our streets. ARRESTS This week, we made one arrest of a male individual for offences related to drink driving. In relation to driving, our team conducted a Speedwatch operation on Clifford Bridge Road, where we issued fines and provided guidance to drivers exceeding the speed limit. Our goal is to establish this as a regular initiative, allowing us to monitor traffic, enhance safety on our streets, and offer reassurance to the residents of the Stoke and Wyken community. It is important for the community to identify the specific areas that need attention, allowing us to prioritize these concerns for our upcoming Speedwatch operation.
