Crime number 01/7072886/25

On Sunday 19th January 2025 at 2325hrs approx, a grey Vespa motorcycle was stolen from the front garden of a property on the main SWAKELEYS ROAD dual carriageway on the odd numbered side in the vicinity of the junction with Vinlake Avenue.

It is believed that a white transit-style van may have been involved.

Action required please:

Did you see or hear anything that may help the police in their investigation?  Do you have CCTV, a video doorbell or dashcam footage that may offer suitable evidence, details about the vehicle used, direction of travel and so on?  Were the thieves active elsewhere on the Ward that evening?

Crime prevention:

It is often difficult to conceal motorcycles at the front of your property, but potential crime prevention measures to consider may include chaining the item to a solid anchor, using a cover to make the motorcycle less conspicuous, fitting a tracker, or concealing an AirTag or Tile etc on the item to give potential location pointers following a theft.
