Dear resident

An attempted burglary has been reported in your neighbourhood.

If you saw or heard anything or have any information about the below incident please call our non emergency number 101, quoting the reference number provided.

Alternatively you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

Reference: 20/120046/25.
Location: Peterbrook Road, Shirley.
Date and time: Between 13:00pm on Monday 6th January 2024 and 13:00pm on Monday 13th January 2025.
Details: The lock on the back door of the house has been damaged but the individual(s) couldn't get inside.

Officers from your local neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting high visibility patrols in the area in a bid to prevent further offences and try to catch offenders.

Where possible please make sure house alarms are set when the property is vacant or when you go to bed and decent motion activated lighting and CCTV cameras are set up at the front and rear of your property. Installing anti-snap locks at the front and rear of your house will also reduce the chance of your house being targeted.
