Good morning, 

Yesterday I was out speaking to residents in Lenham Towers, Brinnington in relation to reports of youths causing issues in the foyer and stairwells. Later in the evening CCTV alerted us to a group of youths, this time in Dunton Towers, Brinnington. They were believed to be smoking cannabis. 

Officers arrived and spoke with four male youths. The males were searched, and cannabis was located on two of the males. Cannabis warnings issued and the males were sent on their way. Stockport homes made aware and further enquiries will be conducted. Another great example of CCTV operatives from Stockport Homes and police working together. 

We will be out and about Brinnington today, so please stop and chat if you see us.
