Leeds East Neighbourhood Policing Team alongside Leeds City Council Parking Services conducted further parking enforcement patrols across Lincoln Green, Leeds on the evening of Saturday 18th January 2025.

The proactive patrols were conducted following a multi-agency road safety operation the week prior, whereby a total of fifty-nine parking fines were issued. Read more at: https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/news-appeals/fifty-six-parking-fines-issued-across-burmantofts-and-lincoln-green-leeds 

Whilst there was a reduction in the number of vehicles illegally parked in comparison to the week prior, the unsafe and illegal parking was still prevalent, with a total of twenty-nine vehicles ticketed during the deployment. 

We will continue to work alongside our partner agencies to address the community concerns raised to ensure other road users, pedestrians and cyclists are kept safe.
