Please share as you feel appropriate Stoughton Burglary 45250006531 17/1/2025 18:48 - 22:10 Ardmore Avenue A crowbar was used to force open the back door. Once inside the property an untidy search of the bedroom began with the jewellery being found and taken, but the empty boxes were left scattered across the bed. A Swiss watch, valued at approx £800 was found and taken along with a silver Cameo ring of unknown value. Theft 45250006653 17/1/2025 18:30 - 19:15 Worplesdon Road A car briefly parked in its own designated parking bay had both front and back registration plates stolen. Merrow Burglary 45250008557/45250008567 22/1/2025 23:00 A resident called 999 on the grounds of two males in the area acting suspiciously. Police arrived soon after, but was only able to catch one of the suspicious males on the spot who was already known to Police. He was searched and was carrying working type gloves, metal grippers and metal cutters, so was arrested on suspicion of ‘going equipped’. Due to a large number of damaged garage doors in the area, it became obvious that the pair had been trying to access many of the garages in Rivers Close, Pit Rivers Close and Urnfield Close. The investigation is ongoing. East Horsley Burglary 45250008056 16/1/2025 16:00 - 20/1/2025 16:00 Whilst the property owners have been away, the bifold door at the rear of the property has been smashed and entry has been gained via a hole in the glass. There is reason to believe this happened on the 19th. The wardrobes and drawers in the master bedroom were most likely searched first. The loft hatch door, with ladder, was also left down which suggests the loft was searched as well. The property owners will make a list of anything stolen as soon as possible. End. | ||||
