Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the last week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 16th January 2025 to 23rd January 2025.
Please Note
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. There was 1 report of Fraud in the last week. A victim has been referred through the Bank Protocol and following investigation it appears that they are being targeted by a number of scammers, including Romance fraud. Please do report Personal Fraud - Scams.
Burglaries North 17/01/2025 17:00. Stanton Grove, Tadworth. Attempted Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Two suspects have attempted a forced entry through a door located at the rear of the property. They have been disturbed by a neighbour and left. Stolen: Nothing taken. (PR 45250006410) 18/01/2025 Between 16:15 to 18:45. The Warren, Kingswood. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through a first floor window. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time but including Jewellery and Bags. (PR 45250006962) 18/01/2025 Between 17:15 to 22:00. Grange Gardens, Banstead. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the back door to the property. Stolen: Jewellery, 2 Watches and Sony Earbuds. (PR 45250007014) 22/01/2025 19:00. Downs Way, Tadworth. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through rear patio doors. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time but including Jewellery and Foreign Currency. (PR 45250008489)
Central Between 16/01/2025 21:00 to 17/01/2025 08:00. Brambletye Park Road, Redhill. Residential Burglary resulting in the theft of a vehicle. Method of Entry – Suspect(s) has entered the property through a rear door. Stolen: 2 sets of Car Keys and a Car. The car has been recovered. (PR 45250006693)
South Between 16/01/2025 15:50 to 21:00. Oakside Lane, Horley. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the patio door. Stolen: Jewellery, 2 Watches and World War Medals. (PR 45250006241)
