Hello, as we go into the weekend Here’s a quick round up from the Kingstanding neighbourhood policing team.

 

 What’s been happening.

 

  • This week the Kingstanding Neighbourhood Team have been up to a variety of things which have included a Speedwatch involving members of the local community. From this 16 drivers will be receiving letters from West Midlands Police warning them about their manner of driving.
  •  

  • There have been a number of arrests made by the team of offenders wanted for a variety of offences, these include domestic matters and a shoplifter who was wanted for multiple thefts as well as being wanted for failing to appear at court. He was remanded to appear at court the next day.
  •  

  • Three stolen vehicles have been recovered from the Kingstanding and Wyrley Birch area as well as seizing a number of cars for no insurance. We've also been able  assist in recovery of a stolen mobile phone that will soon be returned to it's rightful owner.
  •  

  • The Kingstanding PCSO’s in partnership with PCSO’ FROM Safer Travel and British Transport Police have been Patrolling the Public Transport Network to ensure passenger safety and to deter crime.
  •

    Will be on the 1st February at the ECO hub Witton Lakes so please join us and voice any concerns you may have in your community.

     

    “Community speed watch”

    We Are inviting Members of the public to join our community speed watch we already have one group but we want more, so if you are interested in keeping your roads safe and wish to make a difference then please contact us for more information. 

    “STREETWATCH”

    We are looking for volunteers to form street watch groups in KINGSTANDING,
