🛑 Burglary Alert – Marden 🛑

We’ve had reports of two burglaries and an attempted break-in in the Marden area. All incidents are believed to have taken place overnight between 21:00 on 26th January and 07:30 on 27th January 2025.

Burglary 1 – Orchard Green (Ref: 22/8230/25) 

A homeowner returned from a holiday to find their house had been broken into. The suspects entered the property and stole £70 in cash and two sets of cufflinks.

Burglary 2 – Walkers Green (Ref: 22/8200/25)

A neighbour noticed a window left ajar in the rain while the occupants were away. Concerned, they used a spare key to check inside and discovered clear signs of a break-in. Suspects entered the home using some kind of tool, closed all the blinds, and stole cash and jewellery. It’s clear they took their time inside the property.

Attempted Burglary – Walkers Green

A resident reported that their mother’s neighbour spotted shovels left in the back garden. The suspects appear to have tried prying open a bedroom window using the shovel and also attempted to break into two sheds. Fortunately, no entry was gained, but clear tool marks were left behind.

💡 We are appealing for information and asking residents to be extra vigilant.
