Good Morning Residents
Last week the news was announced that the Brownhills and Aldridge Team are relocating Spring 2025, see link for further details; https://www.westmidlands-pcc.gov.uk/pcc-announces-new-police-base-for-aldridge-officers/
This move will see a collaborative, improved joined up emergency service for the people of Aldridge and will ensure officers remain within the Community they serve that is central to continue to rebuild community policing.
There has been a report of two males driving a white Tipper/Box type truck targeting elderly vulnerable in the Aldridge neighbourhood. The males approached an elderly couple to cut back a tree in their back garden. They did accept for the work to be carried out but the males increased the original price and become suspicious. A neighbour witnessed them throwing the waste onto their flat roof. This is a reminder to not agree to any tradesmen who knock your door, please follow the link below for further advice.
PCSO's have attended a Police Surgery at the Thomas Project, Walsall Wood. Engaging with local residents and offering crime prevention advice.
PCSO's have been out patrolling around Pelsall Village paying attention to the high street due to reports of shoplifting offences.
We continue to stress how important it is to store keyless entry keys into a Farraday pouch along with your spare key. Warning for Land and Range Rovers owners , they seem to be an easy target - make sure you have yours secured! Good lighting, CCTV all helps. Disklok steering locks like these below are a great deterrent, not cheap but a great investment!
Officers arrested two male prolific shoplifters who have been targeting stores in Aldridge, Walsall Wood & Brownhills.
Crime Prevention Engagement Event On Wednesday 26th February 2025 from 10.00-12.00hrs at Pelsall Village Centre, High Street, Pelsall. PCSO's along with partner agencies will be available to discuss any crime prevention or an opportunity to raise any concerns in your neighbourhood.
