Crime Data: Humberston Ward Only: January 2025


Dear Resident,

 

As a result of your calls for service, the following crime data is for January 2025 for Humberston Ward only. Once I have the data for New Waltham Ward, I will send it out. 

 

Crime

There were fifty-one reported crimes across the Humberston & New Waltham Ward for January. For Humberston these included: 

 

Vehicle Crime:  

During the early evening of 29th January, a car was stolen using unknown means from the driveway of a home on Greenland’s Avenue.    

Criminal Damage

Between 23rd and 24th January, graffiti was painted on a wall at a shop on Grimsby Road, a fence on North Sea Lane, and a garage wall on Church Avenue.                                                                                                             

 

Other crime include:                                                                                                                

  • Three assaults. 
  • Six reports of harassment.
  • One minor public order incident.                                                                                                      
  •  

    Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)

    There was one report of ASB.

     

    A vehicle that had been driven on the dunes at Humberston Fitties became stuck and had to be towed from the site. The driver was later spoken to by police.

    Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team appreciates the importance of being in the right place, at the right time, for the right reasons to reassure the public, improve public confidence and reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the area in which we all live and work. 

     

    We encourage all residents to call and report any issues where they live so that we can deal with any issues and step up our patrols in the area. The number to call for non-emergency issues is 101.
