Gipton and Harehills Neighbourhood Policing Team continue to use all available powers and legislation to tackle and disrupt organised crime, illegal activities and anti-social behaviour that cause harm to communities in Harehills, Leeds as part of the Clear, Hold, Build project locally named as CommUnity Harehills.

On Saturday 25th January 2025, officers executed a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs warrant at 2 Bexley View, Harehills in Leeds resulting in a quantity of Class A and B drugs being seized and one adult arrested for related offences.

As a result of the warrant executed, the address was issued with a Closure Notice pursuant to section 76 Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

On Monday 27th January 2025, a Closure Order was granted on the property at Court for a period of three months and access to the premise during that period is restricted to any person, other than those named on the order, or by the authorised conditions detailed in the order made.

Anyone entering the premise without lawful authority commits an offence and may be liable to twelve months imprisonment and/or a fine.
