Witness Appeal Nutfield

We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Nutfield this morning.

Officers were called to Nutfield High Street at 7.57am January 30th following reports of a road traffic collision.

On arrival at scene, officers found two vehicles to have been involved in a collision- a car and a coach.

The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, was given first aid but despite the best efforts of paramedics and members of the public, he was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been made aware and are being supported.

The driver of the coach and a number of passengers, who were all students from a local school, were given medical attention nearby but none required hospital treatment.

Our enquiries are ongoing and we would like to speak to anyone who might have witnessed this collision. We are also interested in speaking to anyone with mobile phone, CCTV, dash cam or helmet cam footage that may have captured all or part of this incident.
