This week the police have seen an increase of e-bike enabled thefts of mobile phones and handbags in the Ruislip and Eastcote areas, specifically around Long Drive, Field End Road & Station Approach. 

These types of thefts are committed in a matter of seconds by people often riding e-bikes and e-scooters.   Please remain vigilant whilst out and about on your mobile phone.   Make sure you are aware of your surroundings and only use your phone when absolutely necessary.   The police recommend getting a wrist strap attached to your phone when being used in public.

Local police Safer Neighbourhood Teams are aware of these reports and will patrol these areas over the coming weeks.
