Reducing drug offending in Shephall and Bandley Hill

Dear Resident

The work of Stevenage Neighbourhood Policing Team is informed by the Local Policing Priorities, which are set for each area of Stevenage (in the case of Shephall and Bandley Hill), Stevenage South, by the police in collaboration with Stevenage Borough Council. One of the current priorities for the South area of Stevenage is reducing drug-related crime, including drug dealing, drug use, and drug related anti-social behaviour. We have already achieved several positive outcomes in targeting anti-social behaviour in parks and open spaces.

Your local team are committed to safeguarding the community and reducing drug-related offending. If you are aware of drug dealing or use around your local area, please let us know. This could include drug use within premises, or in streets or public spaces. By actively engaging with local residents, and listening to your feedback, we can ensure that our policing response is focused on the hot spots of offending, for maximum impact and benefit to the community.

Thank You
