Big Family WOW event at Whitecross High School

Dear Resident, 

 

Talk Community are holding a Big Family WOW event at Whitecross High School on Tuesday 18th February 2025 10am – 2pm.  

 The event aims to enhance the mental and physical wellbeing of families by:-

  • Providing access to a welcoming, warm space, for people to connect with one another.
  • Encouraging participation in physical activities for children, young people, and families.
  • Offering opportunities to explore new skills that can boost self-confidence and improve self-esteem.
  • Highlighting volunteering opportunities.
  • Promoting mindfulness and awareness of the present moment,  including thoughts, feelings, and surroundings.  

    • Your Safer Neighbourhood Team will also be there. Please also take this opportunity to raise any concerns you may have and to find out what we are doing to tackle the issues that matter to you.

     

    Everyone is welcome and it would be great to see you there.
