Alfreton SNT were alerted to a potential cannabis grow on Lees Lane, South Normanton.

Inside the property there's were two rooms full cannabis plants and there was also a room full of dry cannabis buds.

The electricity meter was made safe after being dangerously bypassed. This presents a real fire safety risk, endangering the lives of not just the occupants, but the families living in the surrounding area.

Cannabis grows are linked to organised criminality which has a significant impact on the lives of all those involved as well as on the local community.

We will continue to actively target criminality across all of Amber Valley, regardless of what form it takes.
