#ARREST | We have arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of making threats with a bladed article in a public place following an incident in Wolverhampton.

He was arrested this morning from an address in the city and taken into custody where he remains as we continue with our enquiries.

It follows a report that a male had been seen with a machete in Merrick Road, Wolverhampton, at around 3.15pm yesterday (3 Feb). 

We continue to have officers on patrol in and around the area today (Tues) to offer and provide further reassurance to the community.
