Over the past few weeks, there has been a reported increase in Burglaries and Shed break.

The majority of Burglaries have been classed as sneak in, where the owner is in the house and the offender has entered through a unlocked door and general taken money. 

Security advise, ensure that your doors are kept locked and if you have CCTV ensure this is working. 

Shed Breaks – over the last few weeks there has been a increase in all area’s of Lancaster, the main item stolen is bikes and toys. If you have a shed please ensure it is locked and any bike inside are also locked to other bikes or a fixed item. A shed alarm is a relatively inexpensive item along with external lighting.
