Medway Youth Service - Gaming 4 Girls Project

Hello,

We recently attended the Parkwood Youth Centre on a Tuesday and found out that they were running a project aimed at girls to provide a safe space to experience gaming as well as education. Please see details below and if you know of someone who may benefit or be interested, then make contact with Darryl Lacey, details below.

Gaming 4 Girls is a weekly session designed to empower girls aged 13-16 to navigate the digital world safely and confidently. We will explore essential topics such as exploitation, radicalization, cyberbullying, and body image, building awareness and resilience in online spaces through fun and engaging activities.

Alongside these discussions and activities there will be the opportunity to get hands-on gaming experiences across various consoles from retro to modern in our brand new gaming room.

When: Tuesdays, 4:30-6:00 p.m.

Where: Parkwood Youth Centre
