We have recently had a report of a male going around knocking doors and asking vehicle owners if they wanted a security reference number etched into their vehicle windows. I have checked and this is a genuine security feature that is offered by stores like Halfords etc. 

There is nothing to suggest that this individual was up to no good but it is a good reminder of the need to remain vigilant and keep our vehicles safe and secure. 

 PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK VEHICLE IS LOCKED AND SECURE

 REMOVE ANY VALUABLES FROM THE VEHICLE, THEY ARE NOT WORTH LOSING
