Around 10pm on Tuesday, 28 January 2025, a car mounted the pavement on the A823 at Rumbling Bridge, Kinross and struck the wall with the defibrillator fitted to it, before leaving and failing to report the damage.

A silver car was seen in the area and officers are looking for anyone that may have seen it in the area around that time. 

Constable Ben Samson said: "The defibrillator is an essential piece of equipment for the local area and we are very keen to find those responsible for damaging it. 

"Anyone with information, or private CCTV or dashcam footage, from around the time of the crash should get in touch."
