Suspicious men trying doors in Orford Way

This morning we had a report of two men trying doors of properties in Orford Way in the Pickersleigh area of Malvern.

Officers conducted a search of the area and would you believe it, PCSO Kevin Tudge was the one who spotted men matching their description in Elgar Avenue.

Officers from Malvern response shift 'B' joined PCSO Tudge. The two men identified and were searched using police stop search powers. One of the men was found to have cannabis on him and will be dealt with for that offence.  Both men were let on their way with no other offences identified. They have both been advised to leave the area as neither of the men are local to Malvern.

We would like to remind people to ensure that their doors and windows are kept locked when they are not at home and to ensure that even when you are at home, keep doors locked and downstairs windows shut and locked if you are not in that room.
