Dear Residents and Local Businesses,
Here is your weekly update from your local neighbourhood Policing Team, to let you know some of what we've been busy dealing with:
PATROLS Officers have been carrying out patrols of the Longford areas on foot and in vehicles. We have been paying particular attention to locations that have recently experienced an increase in crime and antisocial behaviour, such as Arena Retail Park.
ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR We are receiving several reports of anti-social behaviour in and around CBS Arena and Arena Retail Park. We have identified some of the people involved and are taking action against them.
REASSURANCE We have had a burglary in Greenodd Drive area of Longford, and two theft of motor vehicle on Grindle Road and Sutton Stop. We have been conducting enquiries and paying attention to this area for reassurance to residents. You can find more information on how to keep your homes and vehicles safe by visiting our website: Crime prevention advice | West Midlands Police
OTHER INFORMATION We are holding our Longford PACT meeting on 31/03/2025 at 6pm at St Thomas’s Church, Longford Road, CV6 . We look forward to seeing you there!
If you have information about people committing crime that you want to tell us about, you can contact us on the non-emergency telephone number 101 or by visiting us online at Home | West Midlands Police (west-midlands.police.uk) where you will find access to the LIVE CHAT facility. Alternatively you can contact the CRIMESTOPPERS charity anonymously by calling 0800 555 111. This is a free phone number. CRIMESTOPPERS can also be contacted online here: Independent UK charity taking crime information anonymously | Crimestoppers (crimestoppers-uk.org)
Please do not report crime via WMnow because it is not always monitored.
Kind Regards, The Henley & Longford Neighbourhood Policing Team
