This afternoon I published a message appealing for information relating to a burglary on the Saltway between Fossebridge and Bibury.

"This morning a farm outbuilding on a property on the Saltway in between Fossebridge and Bibury was burgled. Although the offenders were not seen the victim believes that his outbuilding was entered at around 6am. A number of power tools were stolen during the offence.  
 

If you were out and about early this morning and saw any people or vehicles that you thought suspicious then we would love to hear from you. In addition to the above burglary I am sorry to report that a second property at Fossebridge was also burgled with a Honda generator being stolen from a barn. This burglary is reported as having taken place overnight although its proximity to the above indicates that it is likely to be the same offenders. Our incident number for Fossebridge is 78 of today.

Also today we have received information relating to suspicious activity by two men in a white Transit type van near Rencomb. We have the identity of this vehicle and are most interested to hear if any residents in the vicinity of the two burgled farms saw this Transit early this morning.
