A man has been charged in Tamworth after we carried out a stop and search and found heroin, crack cocaine and £405 in cash.

Reece Growcott, 22, of Tamworth, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (crack cocaine and heroin) and possession of criminal property.

It comes after proactive officers stopped a man in Amington at about 1.20pm yesterday (Tuesday 4 February).

Growcott was due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Wednesday 5 February).
