We are aware of reports of vehicle interference happening in your area. While we work to deal with the incidents here is some crime prevention advice to keep your vehicle safe. The advice comes after a number of thefts from vehicles in the Stroud area in the last week. Police are reminding residents in Stroud to lock their vehicles and take any personal belongings from the vehicle. Including bags , mobile phones , laptops , wallets and purses. Please don't leave anything on show in your car that could be tempting to thieves like loose change, bank cards, dashcams & sunglasses. Thieves are opportunists who are looking for valuables on display in your vehicle and will often try the door handles to see if they have been left unlocked.
