We are making residents aware of potential scrap metal dealers currently operating in the area.

On 05.02.25 a resident of Whitminster informed police that a van reversed into their driveway without permission. The vehicle being used was a White Ford van with an index plate taken down by our caller as EN**A*G.

The male described as being in the early 60's age range, wearing a lumber type coat and beanie hat informed our caller that the owner always leaves scrap metal out for him, this is not the case, our caller has never left out scrap metal for collection.

The male was described as being very suspicious in nature and checking out their property.
