Clare’s Law

Clare’s Law

Hello Resident

#SexualAbuseAndSexualViolenceAwarenessWeek | Sometimes it starts off with flowers, hearts, love and the warning signs seem small, but being aware and acting on them could protect you and someone you care about.

Have you heard about Clare’s Law?

If you got concerns about your partner or about the safety of someone you care about, under the Clares Law scheme, you can:

Apply for information about a current or ex-partner because you’re worried, they have a history of abuse and are a risk to you.

Request information about the current or ex-partner of a friend or relative because you’re worried, they might be at risk.

It's completely confidential, so no one will know you’ve applied for information.

We want to help end violence against women and girls, we are here if you need us.
