We have had a report, that on Wednesday the 5th of February 2025, at approximately 16:30 a young child has been approached by a Black Mercedes V Class vehicle, which has had blacked out windows. The driver has approached the boy on ROOKWOOD and opened the side door electronically and asked him if he would like some sweets. The child has refused, and the vehicle has driven off. The driver of the vehicle is described as an Asian male, who could speak English, but a little broken and had an Asian accent, slim to medium build with Black hair with no facial hair. Please could you ensure any further sightings of similar vehicles in similar circumstances are reported to police on the 101 number or 999 if an emergency.
