Burglary
Over the past week we have had x1 Burglary - Business And Community and x1 Residential burglary of a home;
OFFENCE: Burglary - Business And Community TIME/DATE: 04/02/2025 05:35 LOCATION: PERKINS AND SON FLORIST, EARLSDON STREET CIRCS: Officers called to 3rd party report of window being smashed at location. The lower half of the glass front door has been smashed, and the glass bent inwards suggesting entry has been gained. There was a small piece of brick near to the front door which has likely been used to cause the damage. Premises searched and cleared. No trace of any suspect. Signs of an untidy search towards the back of the premises - kitchenette drawers and fridge open, items of cutlery appear disturbed. Till is open and empty, with key in. Rear door appears secured from the inside and undisturbed.
OFFENCE: Residential burglary of a home TIME/DATE: 06/02/2025 11:41 LOCATION: BROADWAY CIRCS: IP has been out when an unknown male has approached the front of his door whilst holding an iPad. He has then opened an insecure porch door and has smashed the window of the front door. He has placed his hand through the smashed hole and he has then opened the latch and entered the house. He has then heard the IPs wife in the house and this has spooked the offender.
