Court Result Received.

In the last few days, Beat Officers have received a Court result following an arrest made back in September 2024. A male from out of County, was stopped driving his vehicle just outside the Town Centre by our team after being seen driving in suspicious circumstances and then failed a roadside drugs wipe. He was charged in December after blood results which were sent for analysis, showed very high amounts of Cannabis were in his system.

The result at Court was a great outcome, seeing the driver being handed a stern 3 year disqualification from driving.

Drink and Drug driving can have fatal consequences. If you have any concerns of another persons driving, thinking they may be impaired or that you have information regarding someone that regularly drives whilst impaired, please get in touch via 101/online.
