COMMUNITY SPEED WATCH

Good evening folks,

Earlier this afternoon I was supporting one of the Community Speed Watch groups in the area of Moira Road, Overseal.

These groups are volunteers who give up their own time to try and make our Streets that little bit safer.

This area is a 30mph length of road and there is a matrix sign measuring drivers speeds, yet several cars were driving over the speed limit and the were pulled over and educated on their speed.

A  prime example is later attending an accident on Catton Lane, Rosliston whereby a single road traffic accident occurred, incident no. 877.

Driver was shook up but no injuries, car a right off.

Please reduce your speed especially around these rural areas.

If anyone has information as to who this field may belong to, then please send me a message.

W3W - folds.blushed.sheepish

Thank you 😊
