Stolen vehicle quickly recovered by Coventry neighbourhood police

We know people across Coventry are concerned about vehicle crime, and our neighbourhood teams are working hard to deal with it.

In Earlsdon, a stolen car was found by the South Coventry team just over half an hour after it was taken. The car has been recovered and will eventually be returned to its owner.

While on patrol in the city centre, officers found and seized a vehicle with no tax or insurance.

After listening to concerns from staff and parents, our officers conducted a community Speedwatch operation outside Allesley Hall School, where we were joined by councillors and the local MP.

Another community Speedwatch operation on Jobs Lane saw us record one car doing 48mph in 30 zone. The driver will be dealt with accordingly.

High-visibility patrols and proactive operations will continue across Coventry, and our officers really appreciate local intelligence from the community.

Keep following your local Coventry teams on social media, and you can engage with them directly on WMNow.
