Community Alcohol Partnerships

Yesterday Officers from Police Licensing, Dover CSU, Trading Standards, Dover District Council & Youth Services joined forces in an all out day visiting 14 Off-licences in Dover, under the Community Alcohol Partnerships (CAP) scheme. Engaging with retailers with regards to their responsibilities under the licensing act in particular around Challenge 25 & Proxy sales. This was the first of 3 visit days planned over the next month which when completed will see 43 premises signed up as part of the scheme in the District. This joint working promotes the CAP and supports retailers which in turn will help to prevent the harm of alcohol in children. Community Alcohol Partnerships (CAP) | Home
