UPDATE FROM: PC 17459 MEMORY, PCSO 61312 TAYLOR and PCSO 71356 HOLCROFT

Saturday 15th February 2025

On the above date, whilst completing patrols of the White House Pub following information passed by members of the public regarding ongoing anti-social behaviour and drug dealing and taking in this area, several vehicles were present and checks were conducted by myself and PCSO Taylor & PCSO Holcroft. 

A vehicle and two occupants were stop searched under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act and were found to be in possession of various snap bags of Cannabis. 

Both parties received a Community Resolution (Cannabis Warning). As a result of the Cannabis being located and seized, the driver of the vehicle was asked to provide a saliva sample for a roadside drug test. This test was conducted and the drug test came back positive for Cannabis.

The driver was arrested as a result under S.5A of the Road Traffic Act.
