Help make our roads safer!

In partnership with the Department for Transport (DfT), my office has been provided additional funding to offer key road users the possibility of a free dashcam over the coming months in the Operation Snap - Journey Cams project.

I am committed to making the roads safer for our residents and visitors, one of my key aims is the use of technology which will give road users the tools they need to make a positive difference where they travel.

Operation Snap is not asking you to go out and detect offences for the police, but Humberside Police will investigate any you find.  Operation Snap has one desired outcome – Making our Roads Safer.

This operation adds to a number of initiatives I already support, for example, Community Speed Watch, to ensure our roads are safe for everyone to use.

We are looking for road users who regularly travel within the Humberside Police Force area in cars, vans or HGVs.
