Community Event in Snodland

Good Morning Resident

On Wednesday my colleagues and I ran a community event at the pump track in Snodland.  The aim was to engage with young people in the Snodland area and provide something for them to do in the half term. Kent Police used their funding to provide the gaming bus which was a big hit with the local children. We also got lots of little ones wanting photographs in the police van and car!

We brought down our bike marking kit so anyone who wanted to register, could. Should their bikes ever be stolen they would be identifiable by the serial numbers we added.

A big thank you to the family hub, Salus and the Kenward Trust who also attended to engage with the young people.

It was lovely to meet and talk to local families and it was well received by all that attended.

Kind regards

PC Olivia Mundy
