Dear Residents, 

To make you all aware, a report has been made to the Police in relation to a car window being smashed on Felton Close on the 21st of February. 

Here's some preventative measures which you may consider to implement to prevent your vehicles being either stolen or tampered with: 

1.Ensure all windows and doors to your home are kept locked with keys removed and put in a place where they can be accessed in an emergency but cannot be reached by potential offender. 

2. Install an intruder alarm.

3. If not already installed consider replacing your home door locks with anti snap locks or adding extra security locks to your home. 

4. Install exterior security lights/CCTV to both the front and rear of your property.

5. Place vehicle keys into faraday bags. This will help block the signal from the key preventing offenders from remotely accessing your vehicle. 

6. When parking at night consider parking in well lit locations that may be covered by CCTV.

Please stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity either via 101 or via the West Mercia Police website.
