A snapshot into the working week of the Riverside Beat 📸

The week started with executing a section 23 Misuse of Drugs warrant, where around 160 cannabis plants were located in a house, along with a male who was subsequently arrested, charged and remanded for production of cannabis and abstract electricity. 🔌  

Our PCSO's conducted events 2 days in a row on the DMU campus, engaging with students who are staying locally. Surprisingly busy even with the half term! 👏🏼

Officers assisted the Westcotes beat with the Special Allocation Scheme, which assists a GP against violent visitors. 👮🏻

One adult male was stopped during a planned operation to target drug dealing and robberies. He was in possession of over 130 wraps of Class A drugs and wanted on warrant. He has since been charged and remanded into custody. ❗

A juvenile was also stopped during the same operation in possession of 114 wraps and 15 rocks of Class A drugs. The investigation is ongoing with all safeguarding measures being explored. 🚔

Prolific shop theft offenders have also been arrested and remanded into custody this week as warrants for their arrests were issued by the courts. 🚓

A lot of positive results this week and plenty of hours put in by the team to target those causing most harm.
