You may have seen a large Police presence in the Bedford Street area this afternoon. 

This was following patrols that I was conducting in the area relating to recent concerns raised relating to Anti-Social Behaviour. 

Approximately 1518hrs this afternoon I located two intoxicated males in a parking area on Bedford Street. One of the males immediately became aggressive and violent towards me so I requested further Police resources to attend. 

A number of Police resources attended and arrested the male.

Working to send out a clear message to those causing Anti-Social Behaviour in the City… ‘Not In Our City’.

We will continue to patrol this area to prevent, deter and tackle any Anti-Scoial Behaviour.
